COACHING UPGRADE: CSI/ Level 1
Community Sport - Introduction (CSI)
Qualified Coaches who took the course during, or before the 2004-2005 season will require the Make Ethical Decisions (MED) upgrade course before March 1, 2010.
COACHES QUALIFIED UNDER THE OLD CURRICULUM
with less than Level 2 CERTIFICATION (i.e. Level 1 cert + Level 2 tech/prac)
are also be required to upgrade their credentials.
Central Region will host a MED Clinic on
Friday, February 19th, 2010
at a location to be announced.

Central Region now has a website.
The reasons behind choosing this type of website is it flexibility and strong emphasis in Community Building Tools.
Over the next few weeks and months, more content will be created on this site by everyone involved at all levels of Ringette in Central Region including Athletes, Coaches, Volunteer's and Executive Members.
There are many major features of the new site and the tools on the Central Region Website like the Contact List and the colabatrive nature of the site, as well as the many possibilities such a bullentin boards and Registration Forms and Clinic Registration.
This means that we are no longer "LOCKED IN" to having only one WEB MASTER because we now have many...
In fact, each member of Central Region can publish articles on the site without the need to contact the webmaster.
We hope the site grows and develops over the next few weeks to something that is quite useful to everyone. |

The Central Region Ringette Association exists (CRRA) to promote, administor, and develop the sport of ringette within our boundries. This is accomplished each season by the organization of coaching and referee training clinics, approving player contracts and movements, enforcing disciplinary actions as required, ensuring that a Games and Tournament Representative is present at all Central Region Sanctioned events, and co-hosting the very popular year end Regional Championships Tournament.
The Central Region Ringette Association is committed to assisting all players living and/or playing for Associations within the Central Region Boundries.
Provincial teams playing in Central Region with the AA/A designation participate in the Central Ontario Ringette League (CORL).
Regional teams playing in Central Region with the Bunny, B or C designation participate in the Ontario Central Region Ringette League (OCRRL).
Both the CORL and OCCRL leagues include teams from various Association and Regions and both have their own executive and bylaws which they are governed by.
